Mount Brydges, ON – The 2024-2025 campaign has officially come to an end for the Mount Brydges Bulldogs as a 3-2 Petrolia game six victory secured their passage to the Yeck Division Finals. The Flyers will tangle with the Exeter Hawks.
A massive crowd of 526 were in attendance from the Tri-Township Arena. The game action did not disappoint and proceedings were decided by just one goal which was a common theme throughout this intense series.
Despite falling behind after the first period, the Bulldogs earned two goals from Tim Jozsa (3:24, 2nd period) and Deacon Kroesbergen (Nick Mazza, Kevin Waters, 7:53, 2nd period).
As he had done all series, Tobias Iantorno was the decisive factor as his goal at 11:36 of the middle period would end up being the game (and series) winner.
Aiden Berry was sensational between the pipes, stopping 31 of 34 shots-on-goal.
The Mount Brydges Bulldogs Junior Hockey Club would like to congratulate the Petrolia Flyers on a hard fought series and the very best of luck in the PJHL Yeck Division Final against the Exeter Hawks.
In addition, the entire organization would like to thank the community of Mount Brydges and Area for their incredible support throughout the regular season and playoffs.
