Mount Brydges, ON – The rivalry of Highway 81 is certainly living up to its name as the Bulldogs and Stars continue to tango into Tuesday evening from Parkhill. Last night, the Stars ensured that game six would happen by way of a 1-0 victory. A Jake Van Arenthals goal in the second period (3:49) was enough for the Stars to keep their season alive.
Benjamin Gustafson stopped all 39 attempts on goal while at the other end of the ice, Aiden Berry gave the Dogs every chance to finish the series by turning aside 31 of 32 shots-on-goal.
Game 6 will commence tonight from the North Middlesex and District Arena. The puck is scheduled to drop at 8:45PM.
