Trade: Bulldogs and Dolphins Complete Swap

Mount Brydges, ON – The Bulldogs and Dorchester Dolphins have completed the following trade ahead of the 2025-2026 season.

Bulldogs Receive: Dylan Dundas (2004, F)

Dolphins Receive: Nolan Burnside (2004, F)

Over-ager Dylan Dundas lands in Mount Brydges after two seasons with the Dorchester Dolphins. Prior to his stint in Dorchester, Dundas began his junior hockey journey during the 2021-2022 season with the nearby Strathroy Rockets of the Greater Ontario Hockey League. Dundas then made a move to the London Nationals in 2022-2023 and split time between the Nats and the Stratford Warriors down the stretch. During the 2023-2024 campaign, the Warriors dealt Dundas to the Dolphins of the Provincial Junior Hockey League.

An impactful player, Dundas compiled 61 (25 goals and 36 assists) points in 56 regular season games-played for Dorchester. During the past two postseasons, the front-man chipped in with 7 (2 goals and 5 assists) points in 11 games-played.

On the other side of the transaction, over-ager Nolan Burnside brings his impressive resume back to the PJHL’s Doherty Division. The London-native began his junior hockey journey during the 2020-2021 season with the French River Rapids of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League. During the 2021-2023 campaigns, Burnside landed in nearby Komoka and laced up his skates for the Komoka Kings of the GOJHL. Moving into the 2023-2024 season, the forward sought new pastures in Fergus (PJHL) before being dealt to the high-flying Woodstock Navy Vets. Burnside would eventually make his way to Mount Brydges by way of the Navy Vets last season.

In fourteen regular season games with the Bulldogs, Burnside earned 6 goals and 8 assists. During this past postseason, Nolan contributed 1 goal in 4 appearances.

The entire organization would like to take this time to thank Nolan for his hard work and dedication during his time as a Bulldog. The club wishes Nolan the very best of luck during the 2025-2026 season and beyond.

Welcome to the DawgHouse, Dylan!
