Our Values and Vision

The Mount Brydges Bulldogs Junior Hockey Club exists to promote and maintain a quality junior hockey program in the community of Mount Brydges, Ontario, Canada and its surrounding communities.

We have created an environment that allows talented players that are eligible to play junior hockey, the chance to compete in the Provincial Junior Hockey League (PJHL). As a non-profit organization that relies heavily on the generous financial support of individuals and businesses, we strive to provide a supportive and positive environment for our players, hockey staff, and volunteers. Our organization boasts qualified coaches, trainers, chiropractors, and equipment managers. We have regularly scheduled practice times, game times and a junior-equipped dressing room.

The Bulldogs strive to represent our community and surrounding area with honour and pride.

Team History

The Mount Brydges Bulldogs were established in 1975 and represented the community in the Western Junior "D" Hockey League. In 1991, the Western Junior "D" Hockey League merged with the Southern Counties Junior "D" Hockey League, and absorbed the Northern Junior "D" Hockey League to create the OHA Junior Development League. In 2006, the league was renamed and rebranded as the Southern Ontario Junior Hockey League (SOJHL). Ahead of the 2012-2013 campaign, the SOJHL was promoted by the Ontario Hockey Association (OHA) to the Junior "C" level. During the off-season of 2016, the SOJHL went through one of the largest junior hockey merges in history and became the Provincial Junior Hockey League (PJHL), where the team continues to compete in the Yeck Division which is part of the PJHL's Western Conference.

The Bulldogs won the Western Junior "D" Championship and OHA Championship in 1984. Thirteen years later, in 1997, the team would win another OHA Championship. In 2001, the team were victorious in the finals of the SOJHL Championship.

During the 2022-2023 campaign, the Bulldogs were crowned Yeck Division Champions.
