The Opponent: The Hawks have picked up where they left off in 2024 with a 5-1 win over the North Middlesex Stars to kick-start their 2025 portion of the schedule. These two clubs have not met in a long while and during their last encounter, the Hawks bested the Bulldogs by 5-0 tally at home. Forward Owen Shore leads the Hawks in points by contributing 22 goals and 18 assists in 27 games-played. On the blueline, Jordan Alexander leads his group with 15 goals and 19 assists in 28 games-played. As a team, the Hawks own the best goal-differential in the Yeck Division with a plus-44 and have allowed the second least amount of goals-against with 83. This game is also a clash of special teams as the Hawks boast the second best penalty kill percentage, clicking at a 74% rating. The Bulldogs own the best power-play percentage in the Yeck Division, running at a 74% pace.

The Opponent: The Flyers are 2-0 thus far in 2025 with wins against the North Middlesex Stars (7-2, at home) and the Lucan Irish (6-5, away). The visitors will be looking to dish out some payback against their hosts as in their last meeting, it was the Bulldogs who handed the Flyers a 7-spot in a 7-1 home loss. Forward Owen Peters leads the way for the away side in the point production department with 19 goals and 21 assists in 30 games-played. The team have also been busy in the early stages of January by acquiring a few new pieces to their puzzle in Brayden Kominek and Ryan Richardson who have dropped down from the Sarnia Legionnaires of the GOJHL. In addition to their forward additions, the Flyers have the highest goals-for statistic with 133 goals scored in 31 games-played.
