The team were looking to make amends for their effort the previous evening in Petrolia and did so in a big way on Friday evening at home.

Callum Statchuk earned his third goal of the season at 9:35 to get things rolling for the home side. It was Statchuk again, at 12:48, who pushed the Dogs ahead by a 2-0 tally. The score remained that way into the first intermission.

JJ Fogarty, on the powerplay, wasted little time in adding a third Bulldogs goal just 14 seconds into the middle stanza. Stephen Burnett deposited his first goal of the season at 16:55. The Spitfires added two late goals via Caden Craggs (19:05, SH) and Donovan Appleford (19:19, PP).
