Mount Brydges, ON - Despite being on the road for three straight games, the Bulldogs outscored their opponents 18-9 (8-3, 7-4, and 3-2) this past weekend and took a total of six points from a possible six. After 16 games-played, the Dogs host a record of 8-7-1.
Friday, November 14 at Thamesford (ATT: 192) - Game Report (Click Here)
After a shaky initial period and being down 2-0, the Bulldogs rallied in the middle and third periods by way of seven unanswered goals.
JJ Forgart lead the goal scoring effort with his second hattrick of the season. Logan Gianelli added to his point streak (9 games) by contributing 2 goals and 1 assist. Eli Dalal made it a 4-game point streak by adding an assist to his season total. Dylan Dunas was instrumental by way of 4 assists to his impressive offensive statistics. Logan Griffiths stood tall in goal by making 44 saves on 47 shots.
Saturday, November 15 at Lucan (ATT: 137) - Game Report (Click Here)
The Bulldogs hummed from the first minute of the game to the last and were collectively rewarded with a 7-4 victory on Saturday night in Lucan. Outshooting the Irish by a 67-35 total, the Dogs had six different players contribute to the victory.
Ben Funston lead the scoring effort with 2 goals. Logan Vandierendonck earned a goal and an assist against his former club. Blake Builder chipped in with a goal and an assist as well. Logan Gianelli (2G, 1), JJ Fogarty (1G, 1A), Dylan Dundas (1G, 1A), and Eli Dalal (1A) ensured their point streaks remained alive. Josh Purtill turned aside 31 of 35 shots peppered his way.
Sunday, November 16 at Aylmer (ATT: 78) - Game Report (Click Here)
Despite tired legs, the Dogs managed to skate away with a 3-2 victory on Sunday evening from Aylmer.
Tim Jozsa earned his seventh goal of the year to get the party started for the Bulldogs. Logan Gianelli (1G) extended his point streak to eleven games. Dylan Dundas scored the eventual game-winning-goal with just over 5-minutes left in the final frame. Playing his former club, Logan Griffiths made several key saves and turned aside 37 (of 39) shots fired his way.
Next Weekend
The Bulldogs will enjoy a few days off and will prepare for a Thursday night tilt in Petrolia (7:30PM). The team will host the Aylmer Spitfires on Friday (8:30PM) before travelling to Parkhill to clash with the North Middlesex Stars (4:30PM) on Sunday afternoon.
