Mount Brydges, ON – The Bulldogs took three of a possible four points this past weekend. On Saturday evening, the Dogs entertained the Lucan Irish and skated to a 5-3 win. On Sunday afternoon, the team travelled up Highway 81 to Parkhill and tangled with the North Middlesex Stars. The home side slid by the Dogs by way of a 2-1 win in overtime.

Saturday, January 3 vs Lucan Irish (Attendance: 165)
The Bulldogs started slowly in this one as the Irish took a 2-1 lead into the first intermission. Noah Cameron scored the lone goal for the Dogs (shorthanded).
The offense picked up for the home side in the second period. Blake Builder added a powerplay goal. The lead was added to by goals from Logan Forster and Nathan Solomon.
In final frame, Noah Cameron added his second shorthanded goal of the contest and into the empty net to put the game to rest.
Logan Griffiths officially hit 10 regular season wins and made 24 saves in the effort.
Sunday, January 4 at North Middlesex Stars (Attendance: 223)
Another tightly contested game contributed to the very competitive Battle of Highway 81 regular season series between these two clubs.
Ben Funston scored the lone tally for the Bulldogs while Parker Barnard stopped 39 of 41 shots peppered his way.
Next Weekend
The Bulldogs continue their travels with stops in Petrolia (Thursday) and Thamesford (Friday).
