Welcome, Mikenna Vanderheyden

Mount Brydges, ON – The Mount Brydges Bulldogs Junior Hockey Club is very excited and proud to announce that Mikenna Vanderheyden has joined the organization as the Director of Public and Community Relations.

Originally from Mt. Brydges, Vanderheyden is a former NCAA D1 Track & Field athlete and attended West Virginia University. During her time at West Virginia, she was an All-American and part of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee which was an organization that was dedicated to enhancing the student-athlete experience as a whole.

Currently, Mikenna resides in Mt. Brydges is planning to go to Western University to pursue either a masters degree or further education.

“Growing up in Mt. Brydges and being involved in local sports has allowed me to see just as much sports brings us together as a community,” stated Vanderheyden. “They foster a sense of town pride and give everyone a cause to come together for. This is a great opportunity to give back to an organization that does so much for our town.”

Come on out to the Tri-Township Arena and say hello to Mikenna who will be a central part of the Bulldogs game day experience.
